MEET THE TEAM

John Thomas Gauthier
CEO Screaming Goat Films
John Thomas Gauthier is an actor, writer, director, producer, stuntman and father hailing from Ottawa, Ontario. Since moving to Toronto in 2017 to expand his professional career, Gauthier has made an impact both on and off screen by focusing as much on his writing and producing as his performing. Pen to screen on Butterfly, his first short in 2021, gave him his first taste of what it was like bringing a creation to life, and has been picking up the pace ever since.

Normally cast as the “big guy," Gauthier has worked on many popular shows such as The Boys (Prime), Titans (Netflix), Fubar (Netflix) and Law & Order Toronto (Prime). Other notable roles include projects such as Skymed (Peacock), The Hardy Boys (Hulu), Pretty Hard Cases (CBC), Brilliant Minds (NBC) and In The Dark (CW). Several other features and series Gauthier has worked on will also be released at the end of 2024 and in 2025, where he hopes to continue to expand his portfolio and build his network even more.

As a writer, Gauthier writes what he knows. Whether he's pulling comedic storylines from his years as a bartender, or dramatic storylines from experiences with grief and loss, vulnerability and truth is at the core of every word.

As a producer Gauthier is an invaluable asset for set morale. With experience overseeing multiple departments at once, Gauthier is the necessary glue on set.

Sean
Irvine
CFO Screaming Goat Films
With a BFA in Film Production, a strong background in sales, and a keen eye for both storytelling and numbers, Sean Irvine combines creativity with business savvy. His mission isn’t just to help tell compelling stories—it’s to ensure they reach the audiences who need them most. Because, as he believes, stories are what connect us and remind us that we’re more alike than we are different.

A versatile actor with a gift for bringing depth, empathy, and authenticity to his roles, Sean has appeared in projects such as The Greatest (Netflix), The Christmas Bookshop (Nicely TV), and The Dark Side of Comedy: Phil Hartman (Vice TV). His stage work includes standout performances in The Glory of Living by Rebecca Gilman and The Irish Pub Play by Aurora McClennan—both critically praised productions at The King Black Box Theatre.

In addition to acting, Sean is an emerging force behind the scenes. He co-produced the erotic thriller DESIRE, a festival-selected short, and is currently adapting a modern retelling of a Charles Dickens classic into a limited series.

Known by his creative handle @Atlas316 — Sean lives by his personal motto: “That I so love the world that I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.” It’s a philosophy that fuels every aspect of his work, whether he’s performing on stage, acting on screen, or collaborating behind the camera.

If you meet him in person, don’t be surprised if the first thing he says is,
“Tell me your story.”
